Busy and Tired

Sorry posting has been a little sporadic. I'm trying to get back in the groove from being out of town. I have also been reorganizing a few closets, getting ready to start homeschooling in a few weeks. And the past couple of nights, the youngest member of our family has had some trouble sleeping. I'm not sure if it's a tooth (ain't putting my finger in there again) or a cold. Last night I didn't know whether to give him some benadryl or tylenol so I opted for the benadryl so we could all get some sleep. I am one of those people who really needs sleep - act Christlike on less than 7 hours sleep? I don't think so. Anyway, we're getting it all back together and I hope to post something of substance in the next day or so!

I'm not very Christlike on less than seven hours of sleep either, lol!

I've got to start doing some school organising but I'm just not quite feeling like getting back into it. I know it will come....We've been following a different schedule from the public schools here. I'm trying to have shorter, more frequent breaks instead of long summers off. I'm hoping this will work better for us since the boys tend to miss a lot of school during cold/flu season due to their asthma.

I'm supposed to have two weeks vacation right now but haven't been feeling well for various reasons, plus a super stressful situation popped up this week with a colleague and friend of my husband's. I think I may need another week to really feel rested and ready to start again.

It's so nice to have that flexibility!

I've missesd your posts, but totally understand about being busy and tired. My little one is teething too, and last night my oldest (9 1/2) woke up at 11:30 and couldn't go back to sleep! Prayer for God's strength and a little coffee got me through this morning.

I would love to hear about how your school days go especially with the two year old. This will be our first year with a little one. (Last year she slept most of the time.)
